Jones-Lancaster
Ingrid Joy Lancaster of Holly Springs and the Honorable Arnold Ogden Jones II of Pikeville exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Oct. 25, 2014, at 4 p.m. at Fairmont United Methodist Church in Raleigh, with the Rev. George Futrelle officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Brenda Keen Lancaster and the late James Wayne Lancaster of Goldsboro.
The bride graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with honors earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in both philosophy and communications. She is employed as regional sales director for the Eastern United States and Eastern Canada at ADLINK Technology Inc.
The groom is the son of Lillie Sasser Jones and the late Honorable Arnold Ogden Jones of Goldsboro.
The groom graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill earning a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and from the Wake Forest University School of Law earning a Juris Doctorate. He is the senior resident superior court judge for Wayne County, N.C.
The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her son, Christian Thomas Maciulis.
She wore a Jim Hjelm Ivory lace-over-champagne charmeuse modified A-line bridal gown with a high illusion neckline accented with a feather detail, open back and a sweep train, and she carried a bouquet of red garden roses and red calla lilies.
Emily Ricks Lancaster, sister- in-law of the bride, served as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Caroline Nicole Jones, daughter of the groom, and Grace Marie Poole, friend of the couple.
Kevin Clark Jones, brother of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Christian Thomas Maciulis, son of the bride, and James Warren Lancaster, brother of the bride.
Ushers were Randall Quentin King and Daniel Lloyd Rollins, friends of the couple.
Emma Holding Lancaster, niece of the bride, was flower girl, and James Walker Lancaster, nephew of the bride, was ringbearer.
Presiding at the register was Michelle Brown Darden. Samone Hinson Lancaster distributed programs. Katrina Gurley-Chase was an honorary bridesmaid.
A program of wedding music was provided by Jessica Borgnis, pianist; Dayle Welch, organist; and the Fairmont United Methodist Church Choir directed by Eric Grush.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s mother hosted a reception at City Club Raleigh. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Collini of Pinehurst, Mr. and Mrs. Linwood Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Geoffrey Hulse and the Honorable and Mrs. Timothy Finan of Goldsboro greeted guests.
After the wedding ceremony, the couple enjoyed a trip to Washington, D.C.
A rehearsal dinner was held Oct. 24, 2014, at Second Empire Restaurant in Raleigh, N.C.
A cocktail party at Goldsboro Country Club was hosted by several members of the Wayne County Bar Association, as well as district court judges residing in Wayne County, family and friends, Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014.
