Sites-Taylor
Sarah Kate Sites of Raleigh and Mitchell Clayton Taylor of Clemmons exchanged vows Dec. 17 at 4 p.m. at North Raleigh United Methodist Church in Raleigh, with the Rev. Joe Wilburn officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Noah Michael Sites of Winston-Salem and Jane Elizabeth Ryan of Raleigh and the granddaughter of Noah Sites and the late Azile Thomas Sites of Pikeville and the late Stanley and Elizabeth Wiemer of Raleigh.
She graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in exercise science, and she attends the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for a doctorate of physical therapy degree.
The groom is the son of Nancy Mauney Taylor and the grandson of David and June Massey of Clemmons and the late Mr. and Mrs. Norman Mauney of Forest City.
He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in civil engineering and from North Carolina State University with a master’s degree in structural engineering. He is employed as a structural engineer at Andrew Consulting Engineers in Wilmington.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Devon Elizabeth Johnson was her sister’s matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Lindsey Ashley, Andrea Nido and Jena Carter.
Spencer Taylor was his brother’s best man.
Groomsmen were Andrew Crutchfield, Chris Justus and Brent Huskey.
Kathryn Pegg and Jessica Altshuler were the bride’s attendants.
A program of wedding music was provided by Brock Downward, organist, and Nicolae Soare, first chair with the Winston-Salem Symphony, violinist.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Wake County Shrine Club.
After their wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Wilmington.
Events held before the wedding included a bridal luncheon at North Ridge Country Club hosted by Peggy VanDevender of Pikeville, aunt of the bride.
The groom’s mother hosted a rehearsal dinner in the fellowship hall at the church.
