Crawford - Yeary
Michelle Lynnette Yeary and Robert Kader Crawford exchanged vows in a double-ring July 23 at 6 p.m. at the North Carolina Arboretum in Asheville, with the Rev. William B. Garner officiating.
The bride is the daughter of David and Lourdes Yeary of Belmont.
She is a graduate of East Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in business and a concentration in marketing and Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte with a degree in interior design.
The groom is the son of Asa Henry Crawford of Clayton and Sharon Wilson Crawford of Goldsboro.
He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree and Wake Forest University with a master degree in accounting. He attends the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Law School.
The bride was presented in marriage by her father.
She wore an ivory form-fitting strapless gown with a beaded belt accent.
The bride carried a bouquet of white roses, hydrangea, cymbidium orchids and hosta.
Michael David Yeary was his sister’s “made” of honor.
Bridesmaids were Erin Yeary, Susan Ogle, Bethanne McPheeters, Lauren Crawford and Heather Moretz.
Bradford Tyson was the best man.
Groomsmen were Sean Yeary, Troy Haithcock, Worth Haithcock, Joesph Webber and Sam Johns.
Ushers were Bryan and Catelyn King, friends of the couple.
Laurann Banazek was the junior bridesmaid.
Grace and Brooke Banazek and Caroline Sale were flower girls. Chase Sale was the ringbearer.
A program of wedding music was provided by a violin, cello and flute trio, Café String Quartet of Asheville.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Crest Mountain. A four-tiered wedding cake of lemon and orange southern pound cake filled with alternating layers of raspberry and orange buttercream was served.
After their wedding trip to Maui, Oahu and Kauai, Hawaii, the couple will reside in Chapel Hill.
