Herring-LaFever
Sherrie Lynn LaFever of Rosewood and Charles Keith Herring of Rosewood, exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Aug. 6 at 2 p.m. at the home of George and Lena J. Strickland of Grantham, with minister Von J. Vernon officiating.
The bride is the daughter of the late Hugh Lee LaFever of Lewisburg, Tenn., and the late Eula Marvine Stanley of Goldsboro.
She is employed by Sunburst Foods Inc.
The groom is the son of Lena J. Strickland of Grantham and the late Charles Herring of Goldsboro and the stepson of George Strickland of Grantham.
He is employed by Bevell’s Pull-It-Yourself.
The bride was escorted by and given in marriage by her son, Ronnie Clark Ginn Jr.
Presiding at the register were Paula Joyner and Rachel West, cousins of the groom.
A program of wedding music was provided by Rachel West, cousin of the groom, vocalist.
Following the ceremony, a cake cutting reception was held at the home of George and Lean Strickland.
The couple will reside in Rosewood.
