Ambrielle Margriette Witteborg of Greenville and John Marion Brogden exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 23 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Mount Olive, with the Rev. Christopher Turner officiating.

The bride is the daughter of James E. and Sandra L. Bostic of Ayden and the granddaughter of the late Leonard E. Bostic Sr. and Penny A. Bostic of Ayden and the late Earl V. and Dorothy J. Latham of Blackstone, Va.

She a 2009 homeschool graduate and a 2011 graduate of Mitchell’s Hair Styling Academy through Pitt Community College. She is employed as a cosmetologist.

The groom is the son of Marion G. and Frances K. Brogden of Mount Olive and the grandson of the late Marion J. and Eva E. Brogden and the late John L. and Hilda C. Kornegay of Mount Olive.

He a 2008 honor graduate of Southern Wayne High School and a 2010 graduate of Wilson Community College with an associate degree in fire protection technology. He is employed as a firefighter/EMT.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her family.

She wore a white satin strapless A-line dress with red crystal beading and embroidery trim that went across the top and hem that flowed into an inverted V-line chapel train.

Her head piece was a tiara bridal veil.

The bride carried a bouquet of red roses with baby’s breath and cascading gardenias.

Gina M. Curlings was her sister’s matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Brittany M. Maples, cousin of the bride, and Brittney N. Pendergraft, friend of the couple.

David G. Brogden was his brother’s best man.

Groomsmen were Jeffery Turner, cousin of the groom, and Glenn Brogden, father of the groom.

Gabriela M. Curlings, niece of the bride, was flower girl. Ashton L. Curlings, nephew of the bride, was ringbearer.

Melissa Turner, cousin of the groom, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Kellie Best, friend of the couple.

A program of wedding music was provided by Sharon Turner, aunt of the groom, pianist.

Following the ceremony, Eddie and Margaret Kornegay, uncle and aunt of the groom, hosted a reception at the home of the groom.

After their wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple will reside in Greensboro.
