Jessica Lee Hightower of Goldsboro and Michael Ray Rowe of Kenly exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 15 at 6:30 p.m. at Community Baptist Church in LaGrange, with Pastor Dean Hightower and Pastor Andy Stovall officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Joel Dean and Cindy Sanderson Hightower of LaGrange.

She is a 2003 graduate of Wayne Christian High School, a 2005 graduate of Wayne Community College with an associate degree and a 2008 graduate of North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. She is employed as a purification operator at Grifols.

The groom is the son of Deborah Rowe of Marydel, Md., and the grandson of Glenda Rowe of Kenly.

He is a 2002 graduate of Princeton High School and attends Wayne Community College for an associate degree in business. He is employed as a financial services officer at the State Employees’ Credit Union.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a white strapless chiffon dress with a ruffled top and a beaded band at the empire waist with a flowing floor-length skirt. Beaded lace accented the semi-cathedral train in a v-shape.

Her headpiece was lined with pearls and beads along the trim.

The bride carried a bouquet of watermelon pink Gerber daisies, white daisies and white and pink roses with greenery.

Carly Hightower was her sister’s maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Nena Sanderson, Vanessa Beasley, Michelle Pennington and Meagan Harris.

Chris Rowe was his brother’s best man.

Groomsmen were David Cox, Nick Harris, J.D. Hightower and Josh Heidenreich.

Zoe Rowe was the miniature bride.

Ushers were Matthew Kornegay and Dustin Nadjkovic.

Cameron Beasley was ringbearer.

Kathy Sanders directed the wedding. Lindsey Shasteen and Morgan Foss distributed the programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by David Wiler, pianist and vocalist, and Matthew Bartlett, vocalist.

After their wedding trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Goldsboro.
