Holmes-Smith
Brittany Smith and Chris Holmes Jr. of Dudley exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 18 at 3 p.m. at Vision of Faith Free Will Baptist Church in Mount Olive, with elder Dexter Waters officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Joe Smith of Milwaukee, Wisc., and Lisa Worthy of Tempe, Ariz., and the granddaughter of Joy Brooks of Milwaukee, Wisc.
The groom is the son of Chris and Leasa Holmes of Goldsboro and the grandson of George Holmes of Harmony, Margaret Holmes of Dudley and Lillian Oliver and the late Johnny Oliver of Mount Olive.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a princess style wedding dress.
Jasmine Holmes was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Amanda Santana, Ashley Baron, Starsha Wynn and Shana Wynn.
Joshua Holmes was best man.
Groomsmen were Teon Sims, Gregory Taylor, James Jones and David Spriggs.
Chaz Reid was the usher.
Tanasha Holmes was flower girl. Calvin Oliver was ringbearer.
Gerald Allen directed the wedding. Lakeisha Oliver distributed the programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Terrance Powell, pianist, and Jeanette Anderson, vocalist.
Shamaine Wynn was the reception hostess
The couple took a wedding trip to the Bahamas.
