Jana Blake Yelverton and Joseph Brian Hill of Princeton exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 28 at 4 p.m. at Adamsville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Todd Wiggins officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Ricky and Sheila Eatmon Yelverton of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of the late Lloyd and Ellen Smith Yelverton of Goldsboro and Rayland and Jean Langley Eatmon of Smithfield.

She graduated from Wayne Christian School in 2002 and Wayne Community College with an associate degree in arts in 2004. She is employed as manager of Bath and Body Works.

The groom is the son of Ricky and Cindy Worley Hill of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late James Edward Hill and Ruth Woodard Hill of Goldsboro.

He graduated from Princeton High School in 1996. He is employed as an operator at APV/SPX.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her family.

She wore a white strapless gown beaded with Swarovski crystals embroidered in silk. It was completed with a satin pick-up skirt and a white sash detail with a chapel-length train.

Her headpiece was her mother’s veil.

The bride carried a clutch bouquet of 40 miniature calla lilies.

Lauren Grantham Rogers was matron of honor, while Liza Hardy was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Mooring, Whitney Pilotte and Dominique deVarona, friends of the bride; Morgan Eatmon, cousin

of the bride; Jamie Hastie, friend of couple; and Ashley Hux, sister of the groom.

Ricky Hill was his son’s best man.

Groomsmen were Jordan Yelverton, brother of the bride; Jeff Hill, cousin, Max Hill, uncle of the groom, Derick Edmundson, friend of the couple; Patrick Hux, brother in law of the groom; and Will Eatmon and Bryan Eatmon, cousins of the bride.

Holley Bruske was flower girl. Christopher Hill was ringbearer.

Debbie Moore directed the wedding. Presiding

at the register were Timmy and Angie Lynn. Maria Jakab distributed programs.

Chris and Carole Eatmon, Kim Bruske and Amy Williams were special helpers.

A program of wedding music was provided by Thomas Vick, pianist.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at Walnut Creek Country Club.

After their wedding trip to Las Vegas, Nev., the couple will reside in Princeton.

Events held before the wedding included a miscellaneous shower April 19 at the home of Junior and Kim Glisson hosted by groom’s family; a monogram shower May 17 at the home of Lauren Rogers hosted by Ms. Rogers; a miscellaneous shower May 30 hosted by Adamsville Baptist Church; a lawn and garden shower May 31 at the home of Brian Hill hosted by the bride’s parents and Jordan Yelverton, brother of the bride, and his fiancé, Jamie Hastie; a recipe and miscellaneous shower June 7 at the home of Chris and Carole Eatmon hosted by Jean Eatmon, mema of the bride, Carole and Morgan Eatmon, aunt and cousin of the bride, and Jean Langley, great-aunt of the bride; a bachelor party June 20 at Charlie Goodnights in Raleigh hosted by Derek Edmundson, Ricky Hill, Patrick Hux and the groomsmen; a bachelorette party and lingerie shower June 26 at Bahama Breeze in Raleigh and the home of Lauren Rogers hosted by Ms. Rogers and the bridesmaids; a bridal luncheon June 26 at the Royal Tea Room hosted by the bride’s mother.

The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner June 27 at the home of Jeff and Kim Hill. The couple chose this time to presents gifts to their attendants.
