Allen-Pipkin
ROSEWOOD — Tiffany Ann Pipkin and Brandon Todd Allen of Rosewood exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 18 at 3 p.m. at Rosewood Baptist Church, with the Rev. Vernon Braswell officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Randy and Angie Pipkin and Garry and Joanie Martin of Rosewood and the granddaughter of Rex and Sue Pipkin of Rosewood and Johnny Tabuchi and Debbie Tabuchi of Newport.
She graduated from Rosewood High School in 2009. She will attend Wayne community College for a degree in elementary education.
The groom is the son of Todd Allen of Rosewood and April Allen of Princeton and the grandson of Walter Allen of Greenville and Marjorie Forbes and Bill and Carolyn Best of Rosewood.
He graduated from Rosewood High School in 2004.
The bride was escorted by Garry Martin and given in marriage by her family.
She wore a white dress with luster satin accent embroidery, pearl and crystal beading and sequins with a lace up corset back and a semi-cathedral train.
Lauren Johnson was her friend’s matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Marissa Pipkin, sister of the bride; Kristen Martin, stepsister of the bride; Samantha Allen, sister of the groom; and Ashlee Pearce, friend of the bride.
Matt Smith was his friend’s best man.
Groomsmen were Dustin Allen, brother of the groom; Anthony Allen, cousin of the groom; and Matt Wagner, and Jacob Allen, friends of the groom.
Ruth Davis, aunt of the groom, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register and distributing programs was Ashli Allen, sister of the groom.
A program of wedding music was provided by Jasa Allen, pianist, and Jeff Lane and Leighanne Bartlett, vocalists.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception in the church fellowship hall.
After their wedding trip to Emerald Isle, the couple will reside in Rosewood.
Events held before the wedding included a miscellaneous shower June 13 at Rosewood Baptist Church hosted by the bride’s mother.
The groom’s family hosted a rehearsal dinner July 17 at 6 p.m. at Rosewood Baptist Church fellowship hall. The couple chose this time to present gifts to their attendants.
