Westbrook-Baker
LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Helen Elizabeth Baker and James Edward Westbrook III exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 20 at 7 p.m., with Tony Williams officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Bob and Barbi Brundege of Goldsboro.
She graduated from East Carolina University with a master’s degree in special education. She is employed as a teacher at Norwayne Middle School.
The groom is the son of James “Sparky” and Wanda Westbrook and Linda Carol Westbrook of Goldsboro.
He graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management. He is employed as a business/marketing teacher at Charles B. Aycock High School.
The couple’s parents and friends held a reception June 27 at the home of the bride’s parents. Hollie Baker and Amanda Farmer cut the wedding cake.
After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, the couple resides in Goldsboro.
Events held before the wedding included a lingerie shower June 15 hosted by Diane Mozingo and the ‘Bunco Babes” and a bridal luncheon June 17 at the home of Stacy Shaver hosted by co-workers of the bride.
