Sugg - Hibbard
Anna Marie Hibbard of Pikeville and Michael Anthony Sugg of Pikeville exchanged vows in a single-ring ceremony April 4 at 4 p.m. at Walnut Creek Country Club, with Justin Lapoint officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Deane Darrell and Kim Marie Hibbard of Seven Springs and the granddaughter of the late Richard Hibbard and the late Laura Hibbard of San Diego, Calif., Gloria Claxton of Hanford, Calif., and the late Kelly Claxton of St. Petersburg, Fla.
She is trained as a chef.
The groom is the son of William Lester Sugg of Greenville and Linda Sue Sugg of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Lester and Bessie Sugg of Grifton and Susie Smith and the late Leroy Smith of Greenville.
He is employed as a technical support specialist.
The bride was escorted by Deane Hibbard and given in marriage by Kim and Deane Hibbard.
She wore an ivory strapless corset-style wedding gown.
Her headpiece was a tiara.
The bride carried white roses.
Nicole Martin was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Morgan Frost and Kimberly Holt.
Brandon Howell was best man.
Groomsmen were Stephen Sugg and Matthew Baysdon.
Riley Brown was flower girl. Brady Sugg was ringbearer.
Following the ceremony, an hors d’ouevres reception was held at Walnut Creek.
After a wedding cruise to the Bahamas, the couple will reside in Pikeville.
Events before the wedding included a bridal shower at Puppettas Restarant.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Hibachi.
