Kriger - Swenson
MOUNT OLIVE — Adrienne Monique Swenson of Mount Olive and Elliott Carson Kriger exchanged promises Saturday, May 20, at 2 p.m.
Drs. Greg and Tyanna Day officiated at the double-ring outdoor ceremony at Beautancus Community Building.
The bride is the daughter of Joel David and Lisa Draughon Swenson of Goldsboro. She is the granddaughter of Mary Keel Draughon, the late Oscar Landon Draughon and Kathleen Harbour Swenson of Goldsboro and the late Charles Swenson.
The groom is the son of Bobby and Becky Kriger of Mount Olive. He is the grandson of Hazel Southerland and the late Leslie Southerland of Mount Olive and Norma Kriger and the late Edmond Kriger of Dudley.
Given in marriage and escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless A-line gown with a small train.
For her headpiece, she chose a white flower tiara with a waist-length veil. She carried wild flowers and daisies.
Natasha Swenson Moore was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Hannah Eason, Amber Ostheim and Holly Capps.
Bobby Kriger was best man. Ushers were Jason Lancaster, Garrett Ostheim and Jason Talton.
Micheala Jones and Skye Moore were flower girls. Jordan Jones was ringbearer.
Gail Brinson directed the wedding.
After a wedding trip to Topsail Island, the couple is residing in Beautancus.
The bride is employed as a hygiene assistant with Lane and Associates.
The groom graduated from North Duplin High School. He attends Mount Olive College for a double major in religion and history and a minor in English.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the community building. A four-tiered wedding cake was served.
On May 19, the rehearsal dinner was held at Beautancus Community Building.
Co-workers of the bride held a pantry shower.
The groom’s sisters held a bridal shower.
The bridesmaids held a lingerie shower.
