Holland - Creech
Emily Katherine Creech and Ryan Thomas Holland were married Saturday, June 3, at 4 p.m.
The Rev. Joe Cox officiated at the double-ring ceremony at St. James Methodist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Jim and Debbie Creech of Greenville. She is the granddaughter of Velma Smith of Goldsboro and Mamie Harris of Wilmington.
Rick and Sandra Holland of Greenville are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Baker of Mount Olive.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Tricia Torrible of Chapel Hill was matron of honor. Shannon Vaughn of Norwood was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Whitney Holland of Greenville, sister of the groom; Kathleen Castillo, Rebecca David and Meredith Edwards of Greenville; and Ashley Mann of Sanford.
Rick Holland was his son’s best man. Groomsmen were David Creech of Wilmington, brother of the bride; Bryan Bunn, Chris Hastings and Byron Murphy of Greenville; and Richard Jones of Gainesville.
Madeline Cox and Eve Ellis of Greenville were flower girls. Hayden Cox of Greenville was ring bearer.
Marianne Cox of Greenville and Sara Davis of Cary were Scripture readers.
Presiding at the register was Claire Edwards of Savannah, Ga. Thomas, Parker and Philip Ellis of Greenville distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Frances Cain, Clarie Stevens, Matt Williams and Patti Williams.
After a wedding trip to Anguilla, the couple will reside in Winterville.
The bride is a graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in elementary education.
The groom graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in health education and promotion. He attends Brody School of Medicine.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Rock Springs Center.
