Kipp - Tayloe
CHAPEL HILL — Eleanor Berry Tayloe of Carrboro became the wife of Aaron Marshall Kipp of Chapel Hill Sunday, Sept. 11, at 4 p.m.
Mark Acuff officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Orange United Methodist Church.
Parents of the bride are Dr. and Mrs. David T. Tayloe Jr. of Goldsboro. She is the granddaughter of Dr. David T. Tayloe Sr. of Washington.
Mr. and Mrs. Terence Kipp of Littleton, Colo., are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Virginia Donaldson Boyd of Sun City, Fla., and Betty Bauer Kipp of Burtchville, Mich.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.
Sarah Joann Thompson of Durham was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Erin Woodall Duff of Chapel Hill, cousin of the bride; Ashley Christine Kipp of Littleton, sister of the groom; Katherine Tayloe MacDonald of Alameda, Calif., and Rebecca Tayloe Seegars of Goldsboro, sisters of the bride; and Wendy Hill Suggs of LaGrange.
Timothy Ryan Grams of Littleton was best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Christopher Brennan of Loveland, Colo., Nathan Charles Clendenin of Chapel Hill, Robert Allan Harris of Atlanta, Ga., J. Scot Mattson of Denver, Colo., and David Thomas Tayloe III of Chapel Hill, brother of the bride. Ushers were William Powell Duff IV and Ryal Woodall Tayloe Jr. of Chapel Hill and Nathan Thompson Tayloe of Wilmington.
Julia Woolbright Tayloe and Lane Woodall Tayloe of Rome, Ga., cousins of the bride, were flower girls. Marcus Herndon Tayloe Jr. of Rome, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.
Claire Tayloe Duff of Raleigh, Mary Rosser Kimbrough Tayloe of Wilmington and Emma Whitaker Powell of Raleigh, cousins of the bride, greeted guests. Rachel Palmeri and Nicole Jarrett of Chapel Hill were readers.
A program of wedding music was provided by Gay Trotter, organist; Jason Spears, guitarist; and Ashley Kipp, vocalist.
The couple is residing in Carrboro.
The bride is a graduate of Eastern Wayne High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed at Piedmont Health Care.
The groom graduated from Columbine High School of Colorado and Colorado State University. He attends the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s School of Public Health.
