O'Banion - Mitchell
Kelly Annjeannette Mitchell of Pikeville and Cary James O’Banion of Pikeville said their marriage vows April 16 at 2 p.m.
The Rev. Dolan Williams officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Pikeville Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Parents of the bride are Royce and Peggy Grantham of Benson and Douglas Mitchell of Pikeville.
Parents of the groom are Huey and Frances Cole of Goldsboro and John and Mora O’Banion of Alabama.
Given in marriage and escorted by her daughter, Amber Belt, the bride wore a white long-sleeved dress with pearls. It had a long train.
She carried red and white roses with white lilies.
Amber Belt was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Ashley O’Banion and Brittany O’Banion, daughters of the groom.
Autumn O’Banion, daughter of the groom, was flower girl.
Debra and Melissa Williford directed the wedding. Kayla Williford distributed programs.
Jeff Martin was a special helper. Azure Smith, friend of the bride, was candlelighter.
A program of wedding music was provided by Melissa Wiliford, vocalist.
After a wedding cruise to the Bahamas, the couple is residing in Pikeville.
The bride is employed at Goldsboro Family Phy-sicians.
The groom is employed as director of telemarketing with Community Support Services.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held. Gretal Ward poured punch. The groom’s mother served the wedding cake.
On April 13, co-workers of the bride held a shower at Goldsboro Family Phy-sicians.
Azure Smith and Lucianna Cox held a bridal shower April 3.
Wendy Goff and Heather Sullivan held a shower at Community Support Ser-vices.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Logan’s Steakhouse.
