Jackson-Robinette
Heather Renee Robinette of Goldsboro became the bride of Christopher Todd Jackson of Goldsboro Jan. 3 at 2 p.m.
Chaplain Ruth Segres officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Chapel.
Corrine Robinette and Danny Reese of Goldsboro and Tad Robinette of Los Angeles, Calif., are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Robert and Eunice Rakes of Goldsboro, Tad and Charlene Robinette of Leewood and Arthur and Julie Halperin of Endicott, N.Y.
David and Clara Dietrich of Goldsboro and Richard Jackson of Germany are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Carl and Liza Hinson of Elgin, S.C., Ronald and Janet Dietrich of Perkasie, Pa., Margarita Espinoza of Casa Grande, Ariz., and the late Raul Espinoza.
Given in marriage by her family and escorted by her mother, the bride wore a formal gown of whit satin with an off-the-shoulder neckline. The fitted bodice was embellished with floral embroidery adorned with sequins and bugle beads. The full skirt was embroidered and flowed into an A-line skirt that cascaded into a semi-cathedral train.
For her headpiece, she chose a two-tiered veil of silk illusion accented with pearls and rhinestones with a satin edge.
Erin Lanier, friend of the bride, was maid of honor.
Richard Jackson was his brother’s best man. Ushers were Tad Robinette, brother of the bride, and Tiffany Jackson, sister of the groom.
Christa Davis, friend of the bride, directed the ceremony. Presiding at the register was Vicki Mackey, friend of the bride.
A program of wedding music was provided by Heidi Ferrell, friend of the bride, pianist, and Erin Sanders.
The bride is residing in Goldsboro. The groom is serving in Iraq. They will reside in Germany.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School. She is employed as supervisor at Toby’s Hallmark Shop.
The groom graduated from Eastern Wayne High School in 2002. He is serving in the Army.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Seymour Johnson AFB NCO Club. Carla Hudson, friend of the bride, served the wedding cake and greeted guests. Vicki Mackey, friend of the bride, greeted guests.
On Jan. 2, the groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at their home. The couple chose this time to present gifts to their attendants.
Erin Lanier held a bridal shower Dec. 11 at Outback.
The bride’s parents held a gift opening party.
