Manns-Alston
EDEN -- Michelle Trafalgar Alston and Troy Lamont Manns were married Dec. 26.
The Rev. Arthur Wadelington officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Springfield Baptist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Carlton and Peggy Kornegay of Dudley and James and Deborah Alston of LaGrange.
The groom is the son of Alonzo Manns of Eden and the late Betty Manns.
Patsy Galloway of Greensboro, sister of the groom, was maid of honor.
Alonzo Manns was his son's best man.
The couple is residing in Chapel Hill.
The bride is a 1981 graduate of Goldsboro High School. She is employed as an administrative assistant in the office of the president of the University of North Carolina system of Chapel Hill.
The groom graduated from Morehead High School. He is employed as a health care counselor at Freedom House Recovery Center of Chapel Hill.
