CROSS COUNTRY: Eagles' Amy captures Hobbton Invitational crown

NEWTON GROVE -- Rosewood senior Elaina Amy captured first place during the Hobbton Invitational contested on a humid and hot Tuesday afternoon.
Teammate Amina Bash placed fourth.
On the boys' side, Cameron Smith claimed 13th overall. Caiden Reiss ended up 19th. Spencer Riggs and Owen Blevins crossed the finish line in 21st and 22nd place, respectively.
