TRACK AND FIELD: Aycock competes in Kinston

KINSTON -- Deshawn Owens posted three first-place finishes (3200m relay team, 1000m and 1600m) and anchored the 1600m relay team to a 2nd place finish. The remainder of the first place 3200-meter relay team was Davis Carroll, Conlan Martin and John Parrish.
Micah Castillo qualified for the state championship with a time of 8.6 seconds in the 55m hurdles.
Trevor Holt, who won the shot put with a throw of 48'2", also qualified for the state championship.
