BASKETBALL: Southern Wayne girls drop season opener

WENDELL -- Samiya Bess poured in a team-high 17 points during Southern Wayne's 56-37, season-opening loss to Cleveland on Tuesday evening.
Iyahna Bess contributed 10 points and dished out five assists.
The Saints (0-1 overall) visit North Pitt on Friday.
