ECBL: Spring Creek trips up Greene Central Red

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Casey Whitfield delivered a two-hit outing as Spring Creek defeated Greene Central Red, 6-2, in an ECBL battle at "The Swamp" on Monday evening.
Jordan Amon and Kevin Grady each drove in a run for the Gators, who improved to 4-4 overall this season.
Austin Reynolds yielded one unearned on one hit and retired three GC batters on strikeouts in a four-inning stint. He emerged as the winning pitcher.
Jensen Barwick claimed the save with three innings of two-hit, three-strikeout relief.
Spring Creek returns to action Wednesday at Wilson Fike Blue. The teams will play a doubleheader.
