ECBL: Wayne Country Day defeats So. Wayne Blue

Jaxon Anderson swatted a two-run home run and also doubled during Wayne Country Day's 12-1, mercy-rule decision over Southern Wayne Blue in Eastern Carolina Baseball League play Monday.
Anderson collected two RBI.
Amane Godo cranked out two hits. Mitch Turnage (two RBI), Tanner Bradley, John Strickland, Holden Foster (RBI) and Stalen Massengill provided one hit apiece.
Foster emerged as the winning pitcher. The right-hander limited Southern Wayne to one earned run and logged eight strikeouts during the five-inning affair.
Weather permitting, WCDS (4-1 overall) visits Greene Central today.
