Eastern Wayne grapplers split tri-meet

SNOW HILL -- Eastern Wayne triumphed in the debut of first-year head coach Aaron Lynch with a 64-20 romp over Greene Central on Wednesday evening.
The Warriors picked up 10 individual victories against the Rams. Lynch is a Rosewood alumni and former state qualifier.
Eastern Wayne fell 54-30 to perennial 2-A powerhouse North Pitt.
Ryshon Rodwell, Ian Gutierrez, Keishaun Smythe, Jordan Wooten, Chris Barbour, Johnathan Harris, Colby Miller, Equan Tune, Cameron Martin and Cainen Miller each claimed a win against GC.
Miller, Wooten, Dilissus Council, Barbour and Tune each emerged victorious against North Pitt.
The Warriors (1-1 overall) travel to North Lenoir today.
