1A SOCCER PLAYOFFS: Spring Creek 4, Louisburg 1

LOUISBURG -- Spring Creek conceded the first goal and rallied past Louisburg, 4-1, in second-round play of the NCHSAA 1-A playoffs on Saturday afternoon.
The Gators' Johnathan Perez knotted the game at 1-all on an assist from Hugo Zabala.
"(The) second half (we) played more aggressive, had control for most of the game," first-year SC head coach Carlos Borda said.
Alex Ambriz collected a goalie rebound and put Spring Creek in front for good, 2-1. Gustavo Avalos and David Ortiz provided one goal apiece as the Gators advanced to the eastern semifinals for the third consecutive year.
Noah Avila and Milton Bautista each supplied one assist.
