Saints, Wildcats play to 3-3 draw

NEWTON GROVE -- Darwin Sure recorded a natural hat trick (three consecutive goals) as Southern Wayne battled Hobbton to a 3-3, non-conference draw on Friday afternoon.
Shyquell Kornegay dished out two assists, while Nathan Martinez added one assist.
The Saints (10-6-3 overall) have earned the No. 2 playoff seed from the 3-A portion of the Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference. The Wildcats (10-10-2) finished third in Carolina 1-A Conference play, and earned an automatic bid to the postseason.
