MOUNT OLIVE -- University of Mount Olive's Jonathan Dahlke and Bailee Henry have been selected the Conference Carolinas male and female runners-of-the-week, respectively.
Dalhke helped lead the No. 16-ranked Trojans to a runners-up finish during the Queens University Royal Cross Country Challenge last Saturday. UMO placed first among 32 non-Division I teams and ahead of Wake Forest in the final team standings.
Dalhke ran the 8k course in 24 minutes, 38.7 seconds.
Henry turned in a top-10 time of 19:00.5 -- 13th-fastest all-time in UMO history and good enough for 28th individually among 325 runners in the same meet.
UMO placed 10th as a team.
The Trojans conclude regular-season action Oct. 23 at the Conference Carolinas Championships, which will be hosted by Belmont Abbey.
