UMO's Loennechen, Guridi each place among top 10

CLEVELAND, Tenn. -- Julie Loennechen and Paula Guridi each placed among the top-10 individuals, and the University of Mount Olive finished third in team compeition during the Lady Flames Golf Shootout.
The teams played 36 holes on Monday.
Loennechen carded a two-day total of 155 and ended up seventh, just six strokes out of the lead. Guridi (156) shared eighth place. Anne Barboteau (164) and Julia Kaeding (168) tied for 18th and 26th, respectively.
UMO shot 643 as a team.
The Trojans return to action Oct. 19 at the St. Leo (Fla.) University Invitational. The tournament concludes UMO's fall schedule.
