Rosewood girls keep share of Carolina 1A lead

CALYPSO -- Rosewood seized a 24-point halftime lead and cruised past North Duplin, 54-21, in Carolina 1-A Conference play Tuesday evening.
Lexi Mercer led all scorers with 22 points for the Eagles.
Deja Aycock led North Duplin with six.
North Duplin (0-17 overall) is the guest of Princeton on Friday.
