OFFENSE: Deshawn Boudy (Eastern Wayne) -- Hauled in three touchdown passes as Eastern Wayne upset No. 1-ranked and unbeaten Southern Guilford, 56-55, in overtime in the NCHSAA eastern 3-A football semifinals.
DEFENSE: Cody Garner (Princeton) -- In final game with Bulldogs, the senior linebacker notched a team-best 11 tackles. PHS set a single-season record for victories (12). Princeton's playoff road ended with a 42-20 loss to Wallace-Rose Hill.
