North Duplin spikers cruise past Neuse Charter

After playing two close sets, North Duplin turned in a dominating third-set effort to topple Neuse Charter 25-22, 25-19, 25-7 on Thursday evening.
Chesney Brown led the Rebels with 10 kills, while Haley Brogden and Shaily McCarty had five aces apiece.
Defensive Elizabeth thornton had 10 digs. Her and Rylee Pate combined for 28 assists.
North Duplin (5-5 overall) improved to 4-4 in conference play.
