That 0-7 start is a distant memory for Eastern Wayne's matmen.
The Warriors have emerged victorious in nine of their last 13 outings after a 4-1 performance in their six-team, non-conference dual meet in EW's old gymnasium.
Quadrick Williams, a four-year starter, remained perfect in nine matches this season. He ended the day 5-0 along with teammates Mario Harper, Brice Heller and Jamal Barrett. Barrett is 12-1 overall, while Heller (18-9) extended his win streak to nine matches.
Kevon Tune and Justice Johnson each picked up four wins. Duane Keys and Bryan Wooten won three individual bouts apiece. Teammates David Ivey, Cam Martin, Ryshon Rodwell and Bruton also won at some point during the marathon dual.
