* Softball: Triton 7, C.B. Aycock 5 -- Haley Boggi led C.B. Aycock with two hits. Allie Phillips added one hit in the defeat. The Golden Falcons fell to 0-1 overall.
* Baseball: C.B. Aycock 17, Triton 6 -- Charlie Robertson went 4-for-4 and hit a grand slam to power the Golden Falcons past Triton. Lloyd Lowe, Brandon Palmer and Braxton Leeper each added two hits in the win. Trent Herndon got the win in relief on the pitcher's mound. Herndon allowed no runs over two innings and struck out five batters.
* Baseball: Greene Central 12, Southern Wayne 5 -- Bailey Ormond and Graham Anderson led Greene Central with three hits apiece in a 12-5 win over Southern Wayne on Thursday. Nick Kearney got the mound win. Greene Central improved to 1-2 overall.
