C.B. Aycock 12, Spring Creek 6
* SEVEN SPRINGS -- Charles B. Aycock scored five runs in the final three innings of a 12-6 American Junior Legion victory on Monday evening at Spring Creek.
Logan Runyon led the Golden Falcons with three hits and two RBI. Garrett Joyner added two hits. Tim Naughton and Conner Crandall both supplied a hit and an RBI.
Kyle Davis earned the win on the mound allowing four earned runs on four hits with a walk and two strikeouts in two innings of relief. Jake Naughton got the start on the mound and surrendered two runs on four hits with two walks and four strikeouts in three innings. Runyon also pitched two innings of relief.
Aycock entertains North Lenoir on July 9.

* Betty Jean Gurley claimed game-of-the-week honors during ladies' weekly play at Lane Tree Golf Club. Linda Hillburn took home low net and Debby Edgerton seized low putts. Cathy Garris earned low gross.
