MOUNT OLIVE -- Mario Aguilar, TJ Wilson and Decardo Cole were among Mount Olive College's top competitors during the season-opening University of North Carolina Indoor Track Invitational.

Aguilar, a Southern Wayne alum, placed second in his section and 13th overall in the men's 200 meters with a time of 24.34 seconds.

Wilson, a Princeton High grad, narrowly missed NCAA-qualifying marks in the men's long jump (6.87 meters) and triple jump (14.16 meters). Wilson earned a fifth place overall in the long jump and fourth in the triple jump.

Princeton High alum Cole cleared 1.91 meters-- good enough for third overall in the men's high jump.
