W. Christian volleyball earns at-large berth

Perennial powerhouse Greene Central welcomes Topsail for a second-round match in the NCHSAA 2-A dual-team women's tennis playoffs. First serve is 4 p.m. at the Snow Hill Tennis Complex.
Wayne Christian travels to two-time defending state champion Greenfield for a quarterfinal-round match in the NCISAA 1-A men's soccer playoffs. The Eagles advanced with an overtime victory over Burlington Christian on Saturday. Kickoff is 7 p.m. in Wilson.
In volleyball, Carolina Conference co-champions Princeton and Rosewood will each play host to a second-round match against Tri-County Conference opposition. The Dawgs (17-5) entertain Tri-County runner-up Lakewood (19-3), while the Eagles (14-9) take on Trask (12-12).
Game times have not been announced.
