Rosewood captured the opening game, but Midway rallied for a 24-26, 25-9, 25-11, 25-13 victory Monday afternoon.
It was the season opener for both teams.
Taylor Johnson tallied eight kills and three blocks for the Eagles. Paige Babb and Megan Church each added five digs.
"The team passed very well, but we just couldn't put the ball away," said Rosewood head coach Jennifer Cochran. "We still have a lot of room for improvement."
The Eagles (0-1 overall) visit Union today.
