Walnut Creek LGA
Jewel Ivey, Kathy Woodard, Betty Holloway, Mona McConnaughey, Cathy Howell and Evelyn Rose emerged the winners in the Pro-Lady tournament contested at Walnut Creek Country Club.
Howell and Pete Reaves shared closest-to-the-pin honors.
Earlier this month, Mary Ann Sutton claimed play-of-the-day accolades during weekly action on the WCCC links.
In first flight competition, Ivey took low gross and Faye Franklin seized low net. In second flight play, Joyce Reynolds claimed low gross. Reaves and Dot Julian tied for low net, while Mary Morris captured low putts.
Sutton also won the State Play Day tournament.
Hole-in-one
Jeff Smith recorded a hole-in-one during the Deacon Jones Invitational Tournament contested on the Lane Tree Golf Course links.
Smith aced the par-3, No. 3 hole from 130 yards off the tee.
Lane Tree LGA
Betty Jean Gurley claimed low putts and Susan Davis was second low net in third-flight play during a recently Eastern League tournament at Wilson Country Club.
Linda Hilburn captured first low gross in fourth flight, while Eileen Henderson had second low gross in fifth flight.
In recent weekly tournament play, Theresa Merritt emerged the game-of-the-week and low net winner. Linda Walston grabbed low putts. Before the Eastern League event, Libby Newsome seized the game-of-the-week accolades. She shared low net honors with Susan Davis.
Barbara Hill claimed low putts.
