Mudcats up-end Jacksonville

Brett Sinkbell pitched into the eighth inning for the first time this season and Carolina dumped Jacksonville 5-2 at Five County Stadium.
Sinkbell carried a four-hit shutout into the eighth before leaving with the bases loaded and one out. Todd Doolittle eventually notched his seventh save of the season since Apr. 20.
Andy Jenkins and Lee Mitchell each smashed a solo home run for the Mudcats, who claimed their sixth straight win.
