K-Tribe knocks off Cannons

Carlton Smith claimed his eighth mound win as Kinston knocked off Potomac 7-5 on Thursday.

Smith tied bullpen mates Josh Tomlin and Hector Rondon for the team lead in pitching wins. Neil Wagner and Vinnie Pestano combined for three-plus innings of scoreless relief.
