Potomac blanks K-Tribe

Former East Carolina standout Trevor Lawhorn smashed a three-run homer as Potomac bombed Kinston 8-0 on Tuesday evening.
Lawhorn's fifth homer of the season broke a scoreless tie.
Kinston's Niuman Romero finished 0-for-3 and had his 21-game hit streak broken. It was the longest in the Carolina League this season.
The series continues today.
