Mudcats top Jacksonville

Cameron Maybin went two for three, including a first inning homerun to
lead the Carolina Mudcats past the Jacksonville Suns 3-1 Sunday afternoon
at Five County Stadium.
Willie Glen pitched four shutout innings in a surprise start for Carolina
after Ryan Tucker was sent up to make his major league debut for the
Florida Marlins.
Jarrett Santos (W,2-1) relieved Glen in the fifth and earned the win after giving up only one run in three innings.
Jeff Gogal pitched a scoreless eighth inning before Carlos Martinez (s,3) closed the Suns out in the ninth.
