Faith Christian qualified for the N.C. Christian Schools Association Class 2-A state tournament with a pair of victories in the Coastal Region 2-A tournament over the weekend.
The Conquerors knocked down their first six 3's of the contest and defeated visiting Falls Road 72-61 on Saturday night.
Wilson Head paced Faith with 18 points, Taylor Stocks had 14 and Phillip Powell added 12.
On Friday evening, Faith picked up a 66-44 win over Cornerstone Christian. Brad Floars scored 16 points, while Stocks had 13. Head chipped in 12 and Jeremy Sandlin added 10.
Faith and Neuse Christian who both advanced out of the Coastal 2-A Region will compete in the state tournament in Lexington on Thursday and Friday.
