Princeton claims season opening win
PRINCETON -- Ryan Daughtry poured in a game- and career-high 36 points as Princeton claimed a season opening, 60-47 non-conference victory over Rocky Mount Prep.
Chris Hinton added seven points and 10 rebounds. Will Gainey and Michael Radford each finished with six points.
Patrick Jacobs had three points. Benton Myers scored two.
The teams meet again Monday in Rocky Mount.

Conquerors triumph
RALEIGH -- Faith Christian began its season by knocking off Mount Calvary of Hookerton 62-51 in the opening round of the Southeastern Tournament in Raleigh.
Taylor Stocks led the Conquerors with 18 points and 10 assists.
Jeremy Sandlin added 13 points and 11 rebounds, and Austin Webber had 12 points. Eric Powell finished with eight points.
Faith faces Raleigh Christian in the semifinals today.
