Aycock's Wright verbally commits to ECU

Catcher Zack Wright, a senior at Charles B. Aycock, has verbally committed to play baseball at East Caorlina.
Wright helped lead the Golden Falcons to the Class 3-A N.C. High School Athletic Association championship last spring. He also played for Wayne County Post 11, which finished runner-up to Cherryville in the N.C. Senior American Legion state tournament.
ECU advanced to the NCAA tournament last spring and lost to eventual national runner-up North Carolina in regional play.
