Clayton defeats C.B. Aycock

CLAYTON -- Clayton put four shots in the back of the net during the first half en route to defeating Charles B. Aycock 7-2, in non-conference girls soccer action on Monday afternoon.
Amanda Schlaeppi found Lizzie Sodoma for the Golden Falcons first goal of the game and Carolina Schlaeppi scored unassisted in the second half.
C.B. Aycock falls to 0-1 on the season and will next travel to face North Lenoir on Wednesday night.

BAILEY -- No. 1 seed Blake Vail defeated Tyler Harrison in a hotly contested match 6-3, 6-7, 11-9 for Charles B. Aycock, but Vail's victory was the lone bright spot for the Golden Falcons as they dropped seven matches to one against Southern Nash.
Aycock falls to 0-1 and will next face Clayton on Wednesday.
