WILSON -- Shea Glaesman led a balanced offensive attack with 14 points as Wayne Christian knocked off Community Christian 50-34 in a Class 1-A Carolina Christian Conference game Tuesday evening.
T.A. Brannan delivered a double-double -- 13 points, 10 rebounds. Eric Williams ended up one rebound shy of a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds.
Adam Brannan contributed eight points, five steals and four assists.
Wayne Christian (7-7 overall, 4-4 CCC) entertains Grace Christian at 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

Wright, Sullivan

WILSON -- Hope Wright and Brittany Sullivan each turned in 14-point outings in Wayne Christian's 51-36 conquest of Community Christian on Tuesday evening.
The Eagles improved to 5-5 overall and 3-3 in Carolina 1-A Christian Conference play. They entertain Grace Christian at 2:45 p.m. Saturday as part of the school's Homecoming festivities.
Wright pulled down six rebounds, while Sullivan provided three assists and four steals. Brooke Norris chipped in seven points, four rebounds, five assists and four steals.
Michelle Krug and Shelle Anderson combined for nine assists.
Middle schools
Eastern Wayne boys 72, Dillard 52 -- Jonathan Midgette led four Eastern Wayne players in double figures with 27 points. Joshua Gregory provided 19 points, while Lavonte McKiver and Jamal Broadie contributed 10 points apiece. Lamar Best added five points, five steals and five assists. Robert Washington and Derrell Lamb paced Dillard with 20 and 12 points, respectively. Eastern Wayne remained unbeaten in 10 outings and is the guest of Spring Creek today.
Dillard girls 30, Eastern Wayne 25 -- Shakeira Campbell and Kasheika Wallace both tallied nine points to lead Dillard to the victory. Tierra Smith led Eastern Wayne with a game-high 10 points. Dillard (8-2 overall) travels to Norwayne on Jan. 25.
