MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Kinston's contest against Myrtle Beach was rained out Tuesday and will be made up as part of a doubleheader today, beginning at 5 p.m.
The Indians announced Tuesday that playoff tickets will be available to the general public beginning Aug. 16.
The K-Tribe won the South Division first-half title guaranteeing them a spot in the 2006 Carolina League playoffs in September.
The ticket prices for the playoffs will be $8 for box and field level seats, $7 in the grandstand, and $6 general admission. Availability of box and grandstand seating will be determined after the Aug. 15th deadline for season ticket holders to reserve their seats.
The playoff schedule will not be finalized until after a team has clinched the second half title in the Southern Division because the standings play a role in determining where the first game of the series will be held.
The only game that is guaranteed to be at Grainger Stadium at this point is the Sept. 7th game, which will start at 7 p.m. More information about game times and schedule will be released as soon as it has been finalized.
Please call the Kinston Indians front office at 527-9111 to purchase your tickets for the playoffs. You can reserve seats for all possible games or just the ones you plan on attending. Good seats will be available for all games and tickets will be available at the ticket booth before all games.
