Goldsboro Track Club athletes achieve state rankings

Four Goldsboro Track Club runners finished the 2004 Junior Olympics' season with a state ranking in various events.
In the Young Women's division, Heather Murray was ninth in the long jump, 12th in the 400 meter and 14th in the 200 meter.
In the Young Men's division, Mackenize Jones was fourth in the 200 meter, sixth in the long jump, eighth in the 100 meter and 13th in the 400 meter.
Bernard Green (Bantam Boys) finished 18th in the 100 meter, 22nd in the 400 meter and 25th in the 200 meter.
Kiante Powell (Midget Boys) was 22nd in the 200 meter and 23rd in the 100 meter, while Minek Ford was 18th in the 400 meter, 20th in the 200 meter and 28th in the 100 meter.
