The following awards were presented to Goldsboro High School athletes at Tuesday's athletic awards banquet:
Football
Most outstanding offensive player - Terry Davis; MVP -- Dorian Sauls; Defensive player of the year -- Stanley Bryant; All-Conference -- Terry Davis, Stanley Bryant, Dorian Sauls, Raphael McNair, Trevor Handsberry.
Volleyball
MVP -- Ashelyn James; Extra effort award -- Carmille Early; Coaches award -- Helga Bryant; All-Conference -- Ashelyn James.
Girls tennis
MVP -- Quionna Bryant; Most dedicated -- Ja'Tericka McClary; Most supportive -- Dominique Cherry; All-Conference -- Jessica Faison.
Boys basketball
