Princeton native cards an ace

CHINA GROVE -- Princeton's Mike Bonds nailed a hole-in-one at The Warrior Club golf course in China Grove on May 7 during a benefit for Catawba College.
He was presented with a 2004 Buick Rendesvouz for accomplishing the feat.
He aced the 167-yard, hole number 12 with a six-iron. Bonds' fourth-ever hole-in-one was witnessed by Dennis Davidson, Bill Hall and Vernon Haynes.
Bonds is a regular at Goldsboro Municipal Golf Course.
